Eligible for Nomination of Award: 4-H Agents
How to Apply:- Outline your Extension employment history and Extension accomplishments (within the past five years, including impacts).
- Outline your higher education history.
- Describe:
- The professional development activities you have undertaken in the past five years.
- Your future plans for professional development.
- Your professional accomplishments or awards as evidence of professional commitment within the past five years.
- The professional development experience you plan to participate in, if you receive this award.
- List the name and address of your local newspaper for press release notification.
Reference Letters
Applicants will also be required to submit 2 letters of recommendation.
One of the reference letters must be from the applicant's immediate supervisor.
Criteria:- The recipient must be an Extension 4-H Agent.
- The recipient must spend 50% or more of his/her professional time in 4-H and youth development.
- Approval of the Assistant Director, State 4-H Leader is required.
The award is funded by an endowment established within the North Carolina 4-H Foundation, Inc. It is presented at the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service Conference. The recipient of the award is expected to use it to provide support for his/her professional development.
