How to Apply:

1. Describe accomplishments that resulted in cost reduction, better management, increased efficiency or productivity that exceeded normal program expectations.

2. What qualities make this nominee outstanding?

3. How did this nominee strengthen Extension program(s)?

4. Enclose at least one Letter of Recommendation, preferably from your immediate supervisor.

At Extension Conference, the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service recognizes a limited number of EPA employees for outstanding leadership within the organization. Award nominations are to be submitted by fellow employees.Submit nominations using the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Awards Program nomination form. Selection criteria will include:

• Accomplishments resulting in cost reduction, better management, increased efficiency or productivity.
• Above average program accomplishments and any special qualities that made the nominee outstanding.

Reference Letters

Applicants will also be required to submit 2 letters of recommendation.  

One of the reference letters must be from the applicant's immediate supervisor.
