The award value is up to $500 (Depending on fund availability) and a personal plaque.

How to Apply: A person applying for this award will need to complete the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service Awards Program nomination form and submit it with two letters of recommendation from individuals knowledgeable about the applicant’s leadership abilities.
This award may be used for professional development opportunities including, but not limited to conferences, special workshops, seminars, and educational study tours.
Selection criteria will include:
-How will you use this award for professional development in the area of Equal Opportunity and/or leadership training?
-How you will use this award to further promote or attend professional development trainings as it relates to equal opportunity and/or advance towards career goals within Cooperative Extension.
At the Extension Conference, the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service recognizes a limited number of EPA employees for outstanding leadership within the organization. Award nominations are to be submitted by fellow employees. Additionally, self-nominations will be accepted.
