4-H Professional Development Scholarship – The award value is a personal and perpetual plaque.
Eligible for Nomination of Award: Agent, Program Assistant /Technicians and Specialists Associates.
Criteria: Award shall provide scholarships(s) to recognize 4-H Agents, Program Assistants/Associates, Managers, or Specialists, for outstanding service and achievement and to improve their management skills within the profession.
How to Apply:- Outline your Extension employment history and Extension accomplishments (within the past five years, including impacts).
- Outline your higher education history.
- Describe:
- The professional development activities you have undertaken in the past five years.
- Future plans for professional development.
- The graduate education program in which you are enrolled and how the program relates to your current position in CES.
- How the program will enhance your professional competencies to provide leadership within CES.
- List the name and address of your local newspaper for press release notification.
The Chet and Lucy Black Extension 4-H Professional Development Scholarship has been established by Director Emeritus Dr. Chester Black and his wife Lucy to further the profession of a 4-H youth program assistant or associate, 4-H agent, or 4-H specialist.
