NC State Extension Brand
Embracing Our Brand
The NC State brand is a reflection of your powerful work and our shared mission to solve challenges and create prosperity. Throughout NC State, we have a common drive and identity: Think and Do.
NC State Extension is an “extended brand” within the university’s brand architecture. NC State defines an extended brand as…
“…units that operate as part of NC State and serve the core mission of NC State but that receive support from organizations external to the university. For the purposes of the university’s brand architecture, support is defined as significant funding, staffing, facilities or other material support.
Often multidisciplinary in nature, extended brands tend to unite university faculty and staff with outside expertise to serve the public good.
Extended brands must prominently and consistently carry the NC State logo and identity.”
Growing the NC State Extension brand goes beyond graphic design and logos. It starts with understanding our brand platform, which is the foundation of our identity and all communications.
The brand platform provides everything we need to build a strong brand identity; craft effective communications; and elevate our university, our programs and our people.
