With the COVID-19 restrictions lifted the Master Gardener℠ volunteers of Dare County gathered for an afternoon of celebration at the Recreation Center Pavillion in Kill Devil Hills. It was a perfect day to celebrate; blue skies & sunny! Volunteers were presented with their 2020 Milestone Awards and enjoyed an appreciation video highlighting their accomplishments throughout last year. The celebration wouldn’t have been complete without a delicious assortment of cupcakes provided by the Hospitality Committee. For many of our volunteers, it was the first time gathering since the pandemic began last April so there was much to celebrate!
