Extension faculty and staff,

The NC State University Trademark Licensing office is currently updating its list of licensed merchandising vendors, which includes companies that are approved to sell trademarked university products, such as apparel and promotional items (bags, hats, pens, shirts and so forth). The process involves adding new partners, as well as discontinuing partnerships with other vendors.

Related to this process, NC State Extension Marketing and Communications was informed this month that our online store vendor, TNT Ad Specialties, is no longer licensed to sell university merchandise. As a result, our Extension online stores are temporarily unavailable while we pursue a partnership with a new licensed vendor.

We are already arranging meetings with vendors before the winter break, and will work to formalize a new Extension online store solution for both our N.C. Cooperative Extension partnership and NC State Extension shortly after the university’s process is completed. We are optimistic for an initial launch during the first quarter of 2020, more details will be shared as they are available.

The online store section of the brand site will remain closed during this time, but will reopen with updated details regarding the new system once available. We will communicate updates directly to you as well.

In the meantime, Extension employees have other options available to help address your local marketing needs:

Thank you for your patience as we work to implement a new Extension online store solution that will simplify and enhance your local marketing efforts.
