2017 Landscape Field Day

— Written By

“Join us Wednesday June 28th for the 2017 Landscape Color and Professional Field Day at 8:30 a.m. The event will be held at the JC Raulston Arboretum, located on Beryl Rd in Raleigh, NC.

This year the subject matter is across the board, giving you a wide variety of interesting topics. Dr. Joe Neal will focus on weed management in herbaceous beds and how to prevent herbicide damage to non-target plants. Mr. Matt Bertone will give you the tools to identify immature bugs, as we know that they can often be more damaging than the adults. Dr. Fair will share some new details on proper planting and staking techniques. And as always, Dr. Whipker has invited a great group of folks speaking on plant management in the greenhouse.

Four pesticide applicator CEU’s are available (three for the landscape and 1 for the greenhouse). There will also likely be Landscape Contractor credits available as well. Check out the agenda and register soon!”
